THE National Grid is to mail out 135,000 newsletters across Cumbria next month urging people to have their say on how electricity should be carried through the county.
It’s a 12-week consultation about where to site new electric lines to connect the proposed nuclear power station near Sellafield, and the Walney Offshore windfarm, into the grid.
