A MAN has appeared before magistrates charged with outraging public decency by committing a lewd act in the stairwell of the Westmorland Shopping Centre, Kendal, car park.
William Harrison, 68, of Winster Park, Lancaster, pleaded not guilty to the offence when he appeared at South Lakeland Magistrates Court on Wednesday (Aug 27).
The case will now go to trial.
