Trains delayed in Cumbria after man hit by train near Lancaster
RAIL services in Cumbria were delayed this morning after a man was hit by a train near Lancaster station.
Emergency services were called at around 6am and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.

Several routes were affected, including between Glasgow and Manchester.
Train services returned to normal at around 10.45am.
