Police appeal for witnesses to hit and run accident in Kendal
A FIVE-year-old girl was injured in a hit and run accident in Kendal earlier today.
Police are appealing for the driver of a silver Vauxhall Corsa to get in touch following the collision on Romney Road at 10.56am.

The vehicle left the scene without stopping.
The girl suffered minor injuries and has been taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for treatment.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Police on 101.
