CUMBRIA Police have revealed a serving police officer is to appear in court on alleged fraud charges.
Police said Tracy Taylor, 42, of Irthington, Carlisle have been charged in connection with alleged fraud offences.

Ms Taylor is a serving police officer from Cumbria Police and was arrested at her home address on the March 31, said police.
Also arrested was Paul Taylor, 41.
Both are due to appear at South Lakeland Magistrates Court in Kendal on October 8.
Temporary Deputy Chief Constable Michelle Skeer said in a Cumbria Police statement: “Cumbria Police take all allegations seriously, I can reassure communities that we investigate all reports thoroughly."
