Person hit by train near Penrith - services delayed by up to two hours
THE line between Penrith and Carlisle is closed after a person was hit by a train near Penrith.
National Rail say that buses are now running between Preston and Carlisle.
The disruption is likely to continue until ‘at least’ 6.30pm.
