Sheep savaged by two dogs in Ambleside
A sheep was left with severe injuries after it was attacked by two 'boxer-type' dogs.
The animal suffered facial and head injuries when it was savaged while grazing on Loughrigg Fell, near Ambleside, on Friday, September 12.
Witnesses described the dogs as resembling the Boxer breed; one was white with dark spots and the other was tan coloured.
Anybody with information should contact Cumbria Police on 101 and ask for PC Terry Lindsay.
