NORMAL service has resumed after an earlier signalling problem caused delays of up to 20 minutes on trains between Lancaster and Carlisle.
Northern Rail Lancashire has confirmed the problem, which caused problems on the stretch of the West Coast Main Line which passes through Oxenholme, had been resolved by around 1.30pm.
The issue had been affecting First Transpennine Express and Virgin Trains.
