Two arrested after pair spotted stealing from back of van
ARRESTS have been made after a pair were spotted stealing from the back of a van parked in Oxenholme.
The pair were seen at around 11.15am on Saturday approaching the vehicle on Scar View Road, before removing a stone saw and running away up Helmside Road towards Burton Road.
Now the thefts of a black pedal bike and the stone saw are being investigated.
Two males, one aged 15 and one 23 years, both from Preston, have been arrested in relation to the thefts and have been released on bail until September 27.
