A MOTORCYCLIST is in a critical condition after a three vehicle crash in Newby Bridge.
Police were called to the A592 near Fell Foot at 1:50pm on September 26 following reports of a collision between a Honda Jazz, a BMW 320 and a motorbike.
The motorcyclist, 40, from Barrow-in-Furness, had to be airlifted to Preston Hospital after suffering multiple injuries to his head, pelvis, legs and arms.
Officers were forced to close the stretch of road for several hours while they dealt with the incident.
