Carnforth
THE question of whether Carnforth needs a mayor is to be decided in the middle of next year.
Current mayor Councillor Robert Roe had raised the possibility of Carnforth reverting to a chairman, rather than a mayor.
Town councillors have agreed to postpone their final decision until after the result of next May’s elections.
