Quad left with 'significant' damage after attempted theft from farm yard
A QUAD bike stolen from a farm yard near Sedbergh has been located nearby with 'significant' damage, say police.
Kendal PCSO, Danielle Ayers, said police are now appealing for information about the attempted theft, which occurred in the Howgill area on Sunday night.
They say the Arctic Cat Diesel Quad was stolen after offenders made their way into the farm yard it was being kept in.
However, it was later found nearby.
Anyone with information is asked to ring Cumbria Constabulary on 101, stating log number CP-20140929-0030.
