LEIGHTON Hall, near Carnforth, and Morecambe's art deco Midland Hotel are among the finalists in this year's Lancashire Tourism Awards.
The historic home of the Gillow family, Leighton Hall is in the running for best small visitor attraction and best for groups.
Winners will be announced at Blackpool Tower Ballroom on November 6, and local businesses in the finals include:
- the Highwayman inn, Burrow - Taste Lancashire award
- Castle Inn, Hornby - Taste Lancashire award and best B&B guest accommodation
- Bay View Holiday Park, Carnforth - best holiday park/village
- Hipping Hall, Cowan Bridge - best small hotel and best luxury experience
- Carnforth Station Heritage Centre - best small visitor attraction
- Midland Hotel, Carnforth - best large hotel and best wedding venue
- Vintage by the Sea, Morecambe - tourism event of the year
- The Dukes, Lancaster - best cultural venue.
