COMIC art lovers are being encouraged to head to Kendal town centre on Saturday to get information about the upcoming art festival.
The three-day festival takes place in Kendal over 17-19 of October, but this Saturday (Oct 4) there will be an information point in Kendal's Market Place to help familiarise people with this year's programme.
Organiser Julie Tait said: "We are doing a gentle pre-promo for the festival in Kendal town centre on Saturday from approx 10am-4pm.
"It will consist of an information point at the marketplace with volunteers giving information and leaflets."
Kendal businesses including Game, shops in the Elephant Yard including Costa and Claire's Accessories and Fat Face on Stricklandgate, will be getting in on the fun with staff dressed up, activities and give-aways.
In addition, the Kendal Windows on Comic Art Trail opens on Friday (Oct 3) businesses across the town having comic art displays in windows including a centrepiece at Beales with the festival's 'Lakes Gang mascots.'
