LAKES-based American Eileen Pun has been named one of the rising stars of British poetry.
The 34-year-old's work was selected for inclusion in a new anthology launched at the Southbank Centre in London on Monday.
Ten: The New Wave is considered one of the most ground-breaking publications of British contemporary poetry.
The anthology showcases and promotes the work of Britain's top ten black and ethnic minority poets.
Eileen, who is originally from New York, lives in Grasmere.
