COUNCILLOR Nick Cotton, Liberal Democrat member for Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale, has been elected chairman of Cumbria County Council’s South Lakeland Local Committee. Cllr Geoff Cook, council chairman and Liberal Democrat member for Kendal Highgate, was elected as vice chair.
