DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a man had a large portion of his ear bitten off in an assault.
The 25-year-old victim also received a cut to the eye area with a sharp implement, said police.
He was treated at Royal Preston Hospital where he received numerous stitches. He has since been discharged.
DC Tris Hardwick said: “This was a particularly vicious attack where the victim has ended up with serious injuries."
The incident took place between 10pm on Friday October 17 and 1am on Saturday October 18 between Westgate and Raglan Road in Morecambe.
