Torchlight Carnival charity funds total
GENEROUS revellers at Kendal’s Torchlight Carnivalthis year raised £4,292 for charity.
The festival retains 20 per cent of each partner charity’s collection, leaving totals of £1,697 for Kendal Mountain Rescue, £1,178 for Sight Advice, £1,079 for St. John’s Hospice and £338 for Jigsaw Cumbria Children’s Hospice.
