THE South Lakeland based CHAT Group Carer and Bereavement Support Group has been awarded a grant of £1,110 from the National Lottery to pay for summer activities for carers and people who have been bereaved. It will help to fund trips and activities that provide companionship and friendship, decreasing the social isolation of the beneficiaries.
