AN OXENHOLME man who admitted making a number of indecent photographs, including of children as young as two, will have to sign the sex offenders' register for the next five years.

Liam Morris, 28, of Bleaswood Road, pleaded guilty at South Lakeland Magistrates’ Court to 12 counts of making the images between November 29, 2007 and September 25 this year.

His sentence was committed to Carlisle Crown Court where a judge gave him a three-year long supervision order, made him pay £400 court costs and a £60 victim surcharge and ordered destruction of his computer.

Morris was also given a curfew order to run from 8pm-7am on Saturday and Sundays for four months.
