A DENTAL technician at the trust that runs Morecambe Bay's hospitals has been awarded a prize for being the top student in his year.
Andrew Tinkler, who works at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust, secured a distinction in his final exams at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), winning the 'Schottlander prize'.
The £100 prize is awarded to the best-performing student on the course. Andrew was mentored by trust consultant Victoria Hadden.
