LANCASTER Beekeepers gave a workshop on ‘alternative approaches to beekeeping’ to more than 25 enthusiastic beekeepers from around England and Ireland this month.
The one-day event in Carnforth focused on techniques “more closely related to the needs of the bees and the environment” rather than focussing on honey production and the needs of the beekeeper.
