Car smashed and items snatched in Ambleside
A CAR was smashed and items were stolen while left in an Ambleside car park yesterday (November 22).
Left unattended in Pelter Bridge Car Park, near Rydal, the silver Ford Focus was damaged left damaged after the items were swiped sometime between 11.30am and 1.30pm.
Cumbria Police said the vehicle had its rear window smashed and a hand bag and a number of jackets were snatched.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and ask for PC Lindsay or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
