Woman's purse stolen while while shopping in Kendal town centre
A WOMAN'S purse was stolen from her backpack while shopping in Kendal town centre on Friday.
Police have said that the woman went into three charity shops between 2pm and 2.30pm, and was aware of someone 'pushing into her back' in one of them.
She noticed that the zip on her backpack was open and her purse was missing while trying to pay for something in another shop.
