KENDAL retailer, Armstrong Ward raised more than £200 for Helme Chase Maternity Unit during a Christmas shopping evening.
The Wainwright Yard shop's co-owner Jacqueline Ward said: “Our customers gave very generously and everybody got into the spirit of the occasion."
