VOLUNTEERS from Skipton Building Society’s finance department were joined by local charity Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) and their ambassador Chris Myers for a nature day last week.
The team used reclaimed and recycled materials to make a variety of durable and rustic ‘bug houses’ to provide shelter for a range of insects over winter.
Some of the bug houses have been positioned in sheltered positions in the grounds of Skipton Building Society’s head office on The Bailey in Skipton, while the others are destined for people’s gardens and backyards.
