HEROIN with an estimated street value of £100,000 has been seized by police after they searched a vehicle passing through north Lancashire.
Police say they stopped a silver Subaru Impreza travelling north on the M6 at Burton-in-Kendal at 3.15pm yesterday and discovered Class A drugs in the car.
Luke Marshall, 37, of Egerton Court, Barrow-in-Furness, and Tracey Buckney, 36, of Christopher Way, Liverpool, have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A controlled drugs between September 1 and December 3 of this year.
Marshall and Buckney are due to appear at Furness and District Magistrates Court today.
