Kendal Police station
CUMBRIA Police are appealing for information after a shopper complained of having a purse stolen from her handbag in a Kirkby Lonsdale shop.
Police said the incident happened at around 1pm today when the black Dent purse went missing in the Parma Violet shop on Main Street.
Various cards, cash and photos with a sentimental value were in the purse.
Shoppers have been asked to remain vigilant when out shopping.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC 2113 Kerr at Kendal Police station.
