TRAFFIC is queuing and one lane is closed on the M6 after a lorry overturned and shed its load of beer.
Traffic police say the accident, on the southbound carriageway between J34 for Lancaster and J33 for the A6, is causing delays for people travelling from the direction of Kendal towards Blackpool.
A rolling road block was put in place this morning.
Some motorists have since taken to social media to say they have been stuck in traffic for an hour and a half.
Jamie Cross said: "So much beer on the M6 right now, a lorry overturned and so many beer cases fell out."
And John Loat said: "Beer wagon accident on the #m6 2 lanes covered in beer."
