Police on hunt for Christmas tree thief
A THIEF has made off with a Christmas tree, complete with baubles and lights, from the front garden of a Dalton-in-Furness home.
The festive decoration was stolen sometime between 7pm on Friday and 5pm yesterday, from the property on Market Street.
The tree is described as being 4ft in height and was adorned with multicoloured baubles and blue lights.
The tree stand was attached to a man-hole cover, which was also stolen.
Anybody with information is asked to contact Cumbria police on 101.
