HAZARDOUS driving conditions mean motorists have to slow down, say the police.
Heavy rain across the county has seen several roads flooded and this poses a serious risk to motorists' safety.
Some of the worst hit roads are the B5305 at Sour Nook, the A592 at Newby Bridge to Bowness and the A591 at Rydal Water to Ambleside.
The roads are passable but police want to remind motorists to alter their driving style to match the conditions.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journey, slow down and not to attempt to drive through flooded roads.
