A FLURRY of festive lights scooped top prize in Carnforth Town Council's inaugural best-dressed Christmas house competition.
Paul and Mandy Bainbridge, of Windermere Road, impressed judges with their 'exuberance of decoration', which included a giant illuminated Merry Christmas greeting, twinkling snowflakes and strings of fairy lights.
The display has been raising money for charity and the couple will also give half their £150 prize to charity, said Cllr Malcolm Watkins, who chairs the council's tourism committee.
