THE festive season would not be the same without pianist Joyce Humber tinkling the ivories at Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre on Christmas Eve from midday-4pm, playing tunes such as Hark the Herald Angels Sing and Come all ye Faithful. Joyce started her legendary seasonal slot in the early 1980s: "Many were kids when they first started coming," said Joyce. "Now they have partners and kids of their own".
