GRANGE Town Council hopes to replace some of the windows at the Grade ll-listed Victoria Hall.
Earmarked for replacement is a 'rotten' wooden window at the stage side door, and 13 'rusty' single-glazed metal windows that 'run with condensation' in the dressing rooms and backstage toilets.
According to plans before South Lakeland District Council, the windows are to be replaced with white satin, double-glazed timber frames that have been specially treated to be long-lasting, and are in keeping with the hall's period design.
