FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a Kendal property after a tumble dryer went up in flames.
At 3.42am this morning (Wednesday, December 24) crews rushed to a flat inside a three storey building on Finkle Street.
Two firefighters with breathing apparatus used a dry powder fire extinguisher to put out the blaze and a large fan was used to clear the smoke.
There were no casualties.
