FIREFIGHTERS were called to a one vehicle road traffic collision in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, December 27).
The incident took place at 5:26am on the A66 near Keswick and when fire crews arrived they found the car had flipped onto its side.
The crew stabalised the vehicle and had to use cutting equipment to release the woman who had been trapped inside - she was the only occupant.
She was handed into the care of paramedics.
