DOMESTIC violence is rife across Cumbria, according to police.
On average, Cumbria Police deal with 17 incidents of domestic violence every day - almost half of these crimes are committed against people who have experienced violence before.
Police have now developed several web pages designed to answer victims' questions.
It informs them what support is available and how they can stay safe.
The advice and support pages can be found at: http://www.cumbria.police.uk/advice-and-information/personal-safety/domestic-violence.
Alternatively, contact police on 101 or, if it is an emergency, dial 999.
