EMERGENCY services were called to a multi-vehicle crash on the M6 during rush hour this morning (January 16).
The North West Ambulance Service was called at 7.33am to suggested reports of a five vehicle collision including cars and a lorry on the southbound carriageway near Junction 35(Carnforth).
A witness reported seeing one vehiclein the central reservation and another that appeared badly damaged.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue attended the collision which they said was between a heavy goods vehicle and a car.
A spokesperson for the service said no-one was trapped and there was no fire but crews made the scene safe.
Two ambulances attended but there were no injuries.
The Highways Agency tweeted two lanes were open and there were delays on the approach.
