A KENDAL man was ordered by magistrates to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work after pleading guilty to obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty.
The court heard that Andrew Stuart, 51, of Peat Bank, was ‘abusive and aggressive’ towards officers when they attended an address to speak to him in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs.
