VISITORS to the spectacular Christmas light displays on Wray Crescent, Heron Hill, Kendal, helped householders generate £1,014 for three charities. The town's Sandgate Special School, the Salvation Army and Parkinson's each received £338. Organiser Colin Ellis said: "We would like to thank all the crescent for their displays and to everyone who came around and supported us to raise this amount."
