Baroness Shirley Williams
VETERAN Liberal Democrat politician Baroness Shirley Williams will be in Kendal next Thursday to launch the re-election campaign of South Lakes MP Tim Farron.
Mr Farron was first elected in 2005 and is bidding to serve a third term as Westmorland and Lonsdale MP.
The launch - being held in the Shakespeare Centre, Highgate, Kendal, at 6pm - will be 70 days from General Election polling day, which is on May 7.
