THIS picture of an albino crow was captured by John Mitchell after it visited his back garden in Heversham.
According to Richard James , Wildlife Supporter Adviser with the RSPB: "Only a tiny percentage of birds have abnormal feather colouring.
" Blackbirds with white patches are by far the most commonly reported but we do get a few reports of crows too.
"The British Trust for Ornithology actually did a survey on abnormal colouring and blackbirds were most frequently reported with crows second."

Some experts use the term 'leucistic' to refer to birds with abnormal white plumage.
Mr Mitchell said: "I thought it was a bird of prey at first but it wasn't behaving like one, and the more it sat there I realised it was a crow."
