PHOTOGRAPHERS hope to give a different perspective of buildings in South Lakeland with their new exhibition.

The amateur group from organisation Space2Create is showing off their unique photos with a fresh look at the old Kendal Auction Market, on Appleby Road, and Blackwell Arts and Crafts House, Bowness, in a showcase at The Factory, Kendal.

The group are completely amateur and support each other to take pictures with equipment ranging from phone cameras to DSLR.

A spokesperson for Space2Create, which aims to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable adults, said the collection is reflective in the sense that the pictures tell three stories.

The first two of these are about about unique places in the local area and the third is about the power of creative activity as a tool for recovery from mental and physical illness.

From a Different Point of View is on show at the Space2Create Gallery in Unit 31, The Factory, on Aynam Road.

It is open on Tuesdays to Fridays from 9.30am till 12pm.
