Driver airlifted to hospital after car flips onto roof on M6
A CAR landed on its roof after colliding with another vehicle on the M6 this morning (February 23).
The northbound carriageway between Tebay and Shap was blocked after the smash at around 8am.
A silver Nissan Primera collided with black Volkswagen Golf, causing the Nissan to flip onto its roof.

The male driver of the Nissan, of the Fleetwood area, was airlifted to Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle by the Great North Air Ambulance with non life threatening injuries.
He had chest and arm injuries from the crash.
A 26-year-old man, who was driving the Golf, was uninjured.
Slow moving traffic is still being reported in the area.
