COUNCILLORS are being recommended to grant planning permission for a 46.3 metre high wind turbine to be built on land associated with Deerslet Farm, south-west of Burton-in-Kendal, despite concerns about its visual impact in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The proposal is to be discussed today (Feb 26) by South Lakeland District Council's Planning Committee.
