TWO people called for help after struggling in cold and wet conditions in the Lake District yesterday (Saturday) afternoon.
Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team set off to locate the walkers along with assistance from Patterdale MRT and RAF Leeming MRT just after 4pm.
They were found moving down near Low Pike and assisted the rest of the way down.
Patterdale MRT had just finished dealing with an earlier incident involving two people who had become stuck on Striding Edge. They managed to make their own way to safety after instructions were provided by the team.
