THE Rotary Club of Lunesdale was one of many around the globe to participate in The World's Greatest Meal to raise money towards eradicating Polio.
Eighty-five club members and guests enjoyed a meal and auction at The Lunesdale Arms, Tunstall, last Thursday night and raised £2,302 towards the charity's cause. Club President Peter Irving thanked everyone for coming including District Governor Roger Mason and his wife, Mary. He also expressed a thanks to all the businesses and individuals who had contributed auction lots and to the bidders.
