SPINELESS thieves may have wormed their way into getting a criminal record after stealing an unusual item from a community garden in Kendal.
A wormery was taken from a plot on Appleby Road after thieves managed to wriggle their way into a polytunnel owned by Queen Katherine School.
The incident, believed to have taken place between March 11-18, comes after multiple reports of anti-social behaviour at the site.
More information to follow as the Gazette digs deeper into the facts of the crime.
