Hanging man saved by police officers in Appleby
A SUICIDAL man has been saved by police officers who found him just in time.
The man, believed to be in his late twenties, was discovered by officers as he attempted to hang himself near an old railway line in Appleby.
Officers had been called to look for the man, who is local to the Appleby area, after he was reported missing.
