Two arrested after man left with 'serious facial injuries' in Cockermouth
A COCKERMOUTH man has been left with serious facial injuries after being attacked by two males, police say.
The 28 year old local man was savagely beaten on Slate Fell Road at 23:25 on Saturday, March 21.
A 20 year old local male and a 17 year old youth have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Police are appealing for anybody with information on the incident to contact them on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
